For the 4th year in a row, Tundraland Home Improvements will award a local student with a music scholarship after another successful Singing in the Shower campaign at Mile 5 of Mile of Music.
The music scholarship will include a year of free music lessons at Heid Music in Appleton, Wisconsin.
As a part of Tundraland’s Presenting Sponsorship of the 4-day festival, the local improvement company has become a festival favorite by many Mile of Music goers.Music lovers who attend the festival are encouraged to sing in one of Tundraland’s shower displays to support music education. If 250 people sing in those shower displays, Tundraland awards a scholarship to a local student.
Tundraland has recently completed the search for it’s newest scholarship recipient. Students 18 years old or younger were encouraged to apply by sending in a short essay answering the question “How does music inspire you and how would you benefit from a year of music lessons?” Essays are reviewed by a panel and a winner is selected.
