Future Neenah, a community driven non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic and cultural vitality of Neenah, Wisconsin recognized individuals and businesses that, through partnerships, made serving as Neenah’s quality of life organization a success in 2017. These recipients have hearts for community service and a love of the Neenah Area.
Tundraland was recognized for extraordinary contributions by a business to the overall quality of life enjoyed in the community. This award acknowledges both civic leadership as well as sponsorship.
Tundraland has contributed to the quality of life in Neenah by collecting boxes of school supplies to help those in need. They also created the ‘Tundraland Wonderland’ which was featured at A Very Neenah Christmas in 2016 to make the event a more enjoyable experience for everyone. Their Holiday themed mobile design center, parked on Wisconsin Avenue featured a ‘Letters to Santa’ activity as well as offered event attendees free hot cocoa to help them warm up.
Amy Barker, executive director of Future Neenah, said, “They completely remodeled the idea of a typical event sponsor by increasing community impact with their own special ways of giving back.”
