Here at Tundraland, our culture as a company influences everything we do. We want to be more than a trusted remodeler – we want to be fully woven into the communities we serve. When our company culture was featured in Remodeling Magazine’s Big 50 Bites podcast, we were very pleased to see that philosophy being spread to a wide audience of professional remodelers.
Our culture as a company and as a community member boils down to 3 things:
1) The right business attracts the right talent.
There are a lot of remodeling companies out there, not all of them great. When we set out to build this business, we started with one employee at a folding table. Thinking on what we wanted to become, we wanted to build a business as part of the community, attracting the very best talent to do it. From the beginning, we’ve always stayed true to that original vision.
2) Inspire people to accomplish more than they thought possible.
Exceptional behavior, both in remodeling and community service, is habit forming. If you promote and encourage the exceptional traits in your people, they will exceed your expectations time and again. We give our employees the space and resources they need to do amazing work.
Whether our team is working on your bathroom or home exteriors, we expect to exceed expectations and absolutely delight our customers.
3) Build ourselves into the fabric of the community
Part of our foundation as an organization is our relationship with the communities we serve. You can see it in our community service work and you can see it at our booth at all the community events. We are proud to serve our community, and we think that service is key to providing the level of care we do for people’s homes.
After all, homeowners trust us to help them improve and protect their most valued possession. We think that our community service builds the foundation for that trust.
