The Tundraland team loves Wisconsin. From our showroom in Kaukauna, we have traveled throughout the state completing home improvement projects for neighbors, family and friends. We have seen a lot of our great state and come to appreciate it more and more through the years! Did you know that according to 50States.com, there are 7,446 streams and rivers in Wisconsin? Laid end-to-end, they could stretch far enough to circle the Earth! Wisconsin has a lot to offer, including unique quirks and specialties making the state all its own. Check out these five state facts that give us Wisconsin pride.
While tropical white sand beaches sound nice for a little while, in Wisconsin you get to experience the best of all four seasons. Green rainy springs, hot summers, crisp, colorful autumns and snowy white winters give a special variety to life.
Home to the Great Lakes, the north woods and everything in between, there’s plenty of wildlife to explore. Our 47 state parks and 13 state forests include hiking trails, beaches, cliffs, quarries, lakes, prairies, nature programs and more and we’ve worked on a number of homes with great wildlife much closer to home! Deer, birds, squirrels, coyotes, turkeys, bear, and much more, right in the backyards of our customers’ homes. It’s never dull with wild neighbors like these!
Green Bay Packers
With 11 NFL Championships and four Super Bowls under their belt, the Pack is one of the most successful franchises in the NFL. The “fan-owned” team has over 100,000 individuals on the season ticket waiting list, showing the true dedication of a loyal fan base. We are a proud partner of the Green Bay Packers and our Kaukauna showroom is just 17 miles from Lambeau Field, putting the Tundraland team right in the middle of the tailgate-loving, cheesehead-donning Wisconsin culture.
Speaking of cheeseheads, Wisconsin is home to some great food including local specialties you can’t find anywhere else. Living here means you’re in close proximity to award-winning cheese, Door County cherries, delicious craft beers, 21,000 acres of cranberries and Milwaukee sausage. From our favorite Friday fish fry restaurants to the best Chicken Booyah recipe, we love all that Wisconsin food traditions have to offer!
It’s no surprise that with a great environment, great sports and great food, Wisconsinites are a fantastic bunch of people to live and work with. According to a study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Wisconsin scored on top for being most extroverted, confirming the rumor that Wisconsin citizens are friendly and approachable.
The friendly, dedicated Tundraland team is a great example of Wisconsin pride. If you’re ever in the Kaukauna area, stop by our showroom to say hello and browse through our American-made window and bath products. We’d love to meet you and hear more about your home improvement needs!
